TruckGuru logistics services work differently, and the difference is worth stating plainly before you read anything else. We do one thing: full truck load intercity freight by road. Not a range of services with road as one option. One service, done properly.

What TruckGuru logistics services actually cover
Full truck load, or FTL, means you book the entire vehicle for your consignment. It travels from your pickup point to your delivery point without being combined with other consignments and without transhipment at a hub.

- Vendor network: TruckGuru operates as a platform connecting shippers with independent transport vendors. We are not pretending to own every truck, because nobody at this scale in India does, and it is better that you know how the model works.

- Documented booking: your booking is recorded, with the vehicle type, route and rate stated before loading.
What is out of scope, stated clearly
This is the section other logistics pages leave out. These are not services we are working towards. They are outside what TruckGuru does, and you should arrange them elsewhere.
- Part load or PTL. If your consignment does not justify a full vehicle, a shared-load operator is the right choice, not us.
- Parcel and courier movements.
- Local and intra-city delivery. TruckGuru is intercity only.
- Air and sea freight, and international movements. We are domestic road freight.
- Freight forwarding, customs clearance and duty handling.
- Warehousing and distribution centres.
- Household shifting and packers and movers work.
- Automobile and vehicle transport.
Turning down work you cannot do well is not a limitation. It is the reason the FTL side runs the way it does.
Why a narrow service beats a one-stop shop
The one-stop model has an obvious appeal: one contact, one invoice. In practice, it usually means your consignment passes through operators the company you hired does not control, and when something goes wrong the accountability spreads out until nobody holds it.
A single-service operator has a shorter chain. There is one vehicle, one consignment note, one route, and one party answerable for the movement. For freight that fills a truck, that is the arrangement that fails least often.
It also means the pricing is legible. You are paying for a vehicle on a route, not for a bundle where you cannot tell which part cost what.
How booking TruckGuru logistics services works
Four steps, and the sequence matters because the checks happen before loading rather than after.
- Enquiry: give the origin and destination, the consignment weight, the approximate dimensions, and the cargo type. Weight and volume together decide the vehicle, since dense cargo hits the weight limit early and bulky cargo fills the deck first.
- Quote: you receive a rate for the vehicle and route, with toll included. Confirm the body length and load capacity on the quote before you accept it.
- Placement: the vehicle is assigned and reaches your pickup location. Check the consignment note details at loading, since errors are fixable in two minutes at the gate and close to impossible afterwards.
- Delivery: goods are delivered against proof of delivery. Record any damage at the point of receipt rather than after unloading.
Payment runs in stages rather than upfront: a Booking Amount at confirmation, 90 percent once the truck reaches your pickup location, and the balance at delivery before unloading begins. NEFT, IMPS, UPI and major debit and credit cards are accepted. Cash is not, which means you get a GST invoice and a payment record on every movement.

TruckGuru logistics services are headquartered in Vadodara, Gujarat, which shapes where the network is densest. Gujarat industrial corridors run heavily: Vadodara, Ankleshwar, Vapi, Sanand and the Saurashtra belt out toward Morbi and Rajkot.
Beyond that, the network covers the standard national corridors, Gujarat to Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bhiwandi to the south, the Pune and Chakan industrial belt, Bengaluru and Hosur, Chennai and Coimbatore, and the Punjab cluster around Ludhiana.
