What leaves Bidar, and what arrives

Sugar is the anchor. The district has several sugar mills, and in the crushing season from about November to April they dispatch bagged sugar and receive spares, chemicals and packaging. Molasses and other by-products need specialised tankers, which we do not supply.

The KIADB industrial areas at Kolhar and Naubad host food processing, plastics, fabrication, pharma and chemical units. Their dispatches go mostly to Hyderabad and Pune, with some to Bangalore and Mumbai. The Humnabad side has its own cluster of small industry along the highway.

Farm trade is the other half: tur dal, soybean, jowar and other pulses go to mills and traders across the border. And in the old city, Bidriware artisans make the inlaid metal craft Bidar is famous for, usually sent in small consignments.

Inbound: FMCG, pharma, cement and steel, tiles, fertiliser and consumer durables for distributors who serve the whole district.

Where trucks from Bidar go

Hyderabad is the lane we would call the easiest. Picking a truck for sugar, pulses or factory goods

Sugar and pulses come in 50 kg or 100 kg bags. They reach a truck's weight limit while the body still looks half empty, so book by weight. A 19FT Eicher rated at 7 ton is common for mill dispatches; for 15-plus ton, a 32FT Container in the 16 or 18 ton class is the right size.

Factory goods from Kolhar are lighter and boxier. Cartons of plastic goods or packaged food fill a 20FT Container on volume first. Small loads, up to 1,100 kg, go in the Ace / Dost / Pickup (750 kg - 1,100 kg). The truck size page lists body length, width and height for each type.

Crossing the state line

Almost every outbound Bidar trip is interstate, because Hyderabad is in Telangana and Pune, Latur and Solapur are in Maharashtra. For goods worth more than Rs.50,000, the consignor or consignee must generate the e-way bill, and the vehicle number on it has to match the truck. Check it before the truck leaves your gate; a mismatch is the usual reason a truck gets stopped at a checkpoint.

Your paperwork from us: a digital LR when loading finishes and a GST invoice once the goods are delivered. GPS tracking stays on for the whole trip. Labour at both gates and any insurance cover are for you to arrange.

Monsoon and festival timing

Bidar sits on a plateau and its roads hold up better in the rains than the low-lying stretches toward Hyderabad's outskirts, where waterlogging can slow a truck's last few kilometres in July and August. The tighter period is late October to December: sugar mills start crushing, pulse traders move the new crop, and Diwali stock flows the other way. In those weeks, book Pune, Mumbai and Bangalore trucks three or four days ahead, and keep the loading date firm. Hyderabad usually stays easy even then.

Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading once the truck reaches the pickup location, and the remaining Balance at delivery before unloading begins. Accepted: NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments accepted.
