And will it take my goods to another city at a fair, fixed price? For intercity full truckloads, TruckGuru answers both. We send trucks to your pickup address in more than 50 cities and their industrial belts, and you see the fare before you book.
One thing to know upfront: "near me" is about where the truck picks up, not how far it goes. We book trips of 100 km or more. For deliveries within your own city, a local operator is the right choice.
How pickup from your location works

- We assign the nearest suitable truck, and you get the driver's name and number.

How quickly a truck reaches you
In major industrial areas, a Tata Ace or 14ft truck can often reach you within a few hours of a morning booking. 20ft trucks usually report the same day or the next morning. 32ft containers need 12 to 24 hours' notice. In smaller towns, allow a little more time, as the truck may come from the nearest city.
Availability is tighter in the weeks before Diwali, at financial year-end in March, and during harvest seasons in agricultural regions. Book a day or two ahead in those periods.

Sample fares
To give you a sense of pricing: a 14ft truck from Vadodara to Ahmedabad costs Rs.6,500 to Rs.7,000; Bangalore to Chennai costs Rs.14,000 to Rs.15,400; and Mumbai to Delhi costs Rs.47,100 to Rs.52,800. Toll is included in every fare. Your exact fare depends on your pickup address and delivery pin code.
Why a nearby truck is not always the best truck
It is natural to want the truck parked closest to your gate. But the nearest truck is not always the right one. A 20ft truck two kilometres away is no use if your load is 12 ton of steel that needs a 32ft trailer. And a truck that has just unloaded near you may be booked to go back in the opposite direction.
What matters more is the right size, a driver who knows the route, and a fare fixed before loading. We match the truck to the load and the destination first, then find the closest one that fits. Usually that is still close to you, but not always the very nearest.
Getting a smooth pickup
Most pickup delays have nothing to do with distance. They come from four things, and all four are in your control:
- A vague address. Share a location pin and a landmark, especially in large industrial estates where plot numbers are not in order.
- A gate pass. Many plants need the vehicle number and driver details a day in advance. Send us the format.
- Documents. Have the invoice and e-way bill ready before the truck arrives, with the vehicle number we send you.
- Loading readiness. Keep goods packed and staged near the gate, with labour or a forklift ready.
Get these right, and a truck that reports at 10 am is usually on the highway by noon.
City rules that affect pickup timing
Large cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad, restrict heavy goods vehicles on many roads during the day. If your pickup is inside city limits, the truck may only be able to reach you early in the morning or at night. Pickups in industrial areas on the edge of these cities, such as Bhiwandi, Manesar, Peenya or Sriperumbudur, are usually not affected. Tell us your address, and we plan the reporting time around the local rules.
What we do not do
We do not offer local transport within a city, parcels, courier, or vehicle transport. Being clear saves you time if one of those is what you need.
Regular shipments from your location
If you ship from the same address every week, you do not need to search for a truck each time. Tell us your usual day, destination and truck size. We plan capacity for it, so the truck reports on time week after week. Many of our customers in industrial estates run their regular dispatches this way and book only the extra loads online.
Safety and handling
Every truck we send is checked for documents before assignment, and drivers are briefed on the load type. For chemicals, share the product name and MSDS. For high-value goods, ask for a sealed closed body. For machinery, arrange a crane or forklift at your end, since trucks do not carry loading equipment.
If something goes wrong on the road, such as a breakdown or a border hold, our team calls you with the status and the plan. You do not have to chase the driver for updates.
Payment
Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading once the truck reaches the pickup location, and the remaining Balance at delivery before unloading begins. Accepted: NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments accepted.
