Full truck load means the vehicle carries your consignment alone, from pickup point to delivery point, with no transhipment at a hub and no other shipper sharing the deck. For intercity movement of commercial goods, that is the difference between a transit window you can plan around and a schedule set by when a shared load happens to fill.

How the rate is calculated

Three inputs: route distance, vehicle category, and availability on that lane at the time of booking.

Distance times the per-km rate for your vehicle gives the trip total. A 14ft Eicher at Rs.31 to Rs.35 per km over 530 km works out to roughly Rs.16,430 to Rs.18,550. That figure includes toll across every state on the route.

Availability moves the number within the band rather than outside it. On a corridor with freight running both ways, the operator is not pricing an empty return leg and you land nearer the lower end. On a thin lane, or during Q4 restocking and post-harvest movement, the band tightens upward.

What real corridors cost

For larger vehicles on the same corridors: a 20FT container on Chennai-Hyderabad runs Rs.27,830 to Rs.32,350. A 32FT container at 16 tonnes on Delhi-Mumbai runs Rs.66,200 to Rs.76,000.

Payment terms

Three stages. Booking Amount at confirmation, which secures the vehicle and locks the rate. 90 per cent at loading, before the truck departs. The balance before unloading at destination.

NEFT, IMPS, UPI including PhonePe and GPay, and major debit or credit cards. Cash is not accepted. Every booking produces a GST-compliant invoice with the full tax breakup.

Daily bookings from Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Surat, Indore, Vadodara, Noida, Jaipur, Nagpur, Visakhapatnam and Kochi, with coverage across 110+ cities.

High-frequency corridors including Delhi-Mumbai, Ahmedabad-Mumbai and Chennai-Bangalore tend to have shorter lead times than thinner lanes. Availability varies by date and vehicle type. Booking 2 to 3 days ahead generally secures better vehicle choice and steadier rates, and smaller origin cities usually need more notice.

What does intercity freight cost per km?

Tata Ace, Bada Dost and Mahindra Pickup Rs.26 to Rs.29. Eicher 14FT Rs.31 to Rs.35. Eicher 17FT Rs.34 to Rs.37. Eicher 19FT Rs.37 to Rs.41. 20FT container Rs.41 to Rs.45. 32FT container Rs.55 to Rs.91 depending on tonnage tier. All include toll.

Is toll included in the freight rate?

Yes. Toll across every state on the route is inside the per-km rate confirmed at booking. There is no separate toll bill after delivery.

Are there hidden charges after booking?

No. The rate confirmed at booking is the rate on your invoice. No fuel surcharge, no loading fee, no gate charge added after dispatch. Loading and unloading labour is your arrangement at both ends, and that is stated before you book rather than after.

What are the payment terms?

Do I need to pay anything to check a rate?

What happens if my cargo weighs more than declared?

The vehicle assigned matches the weight declared at booking. If the actual consignment is heavier, the driver may not be able to accept the excess and the booking may need revising to a larger vehicle. Weighing the consignment before selecting avoids that.

Can I get a truck the same day?

It depends on the corridor, the date and the vehicle you need. Lead times are shorter on high-frequency lanes than on thinner ones, but same-day availability is not guaranteed on any route. Call 72020 45678 to check what is available for your dispatch date.

Does TruckGuru offer local within-city transport?

No. Intercity routes above 100 km only. Same-city and short-distance moves are outside the scope of this platform.

Do you offer part-load or PTL freight?

No. FTL only. One truck, one shipper, one consignment per booking. If you need to share truck space with other shippers, that is part-load freight and is not offered here.
