Documents after customs clearance
Once the goods are out of customs, the onward move is an ordinary interstate transport from Gujarat to Maharashtra. An e-way bill is needed for goods worth more than Rs.50,000, generated by the consignor or consignee, usually the importer or the clearing agent. The driver carries it with the invoice.
At loading we issue a digital Lorry Receipt. The truck is tracked on GPS from the port to the plant. After the load is handed over, you have proof of delivery on the Lorry Receipt, and the GST invoice follows. Loading at the CFS, unloading at the plant and transit insurance are arranged by you.
