What actually moves through Rishikesh
Rishikesh is a town of ashrams, hotels, river camps and yoga schools, so most freight here is inbound. Hotels and resorts along Tapovan, Laxman Jhula and the Neelkanth road need linen, kitchen equipment, mattresses, furniture for new rooms and bulk groceries. Builders need tiles, sanitaryware, steel and cement. Retailers on Ghat Road and in the main market restock FMCG, garments and religious goods that come up from Delhi, Saharanpur and Haridwar.
Outbound loads are smaller but steady. Ayurvedic and herbal products, packaged spices, handicrafts and printed religious books leave for Delhi NCR and Punjab. Rafting operators send equipment back for repair at the end of the season, and when a hotel refits, the old fittings often go to a buyer in another city.
Next door, the SIDCUL industrial estate at Haridwar is where the big manufacturing sits. A lot of what people search as "Rishikesh transport" is really a factory load from that belt, and we book those the same way.

Hill roads change the truck you should book
Below Rishikesh the plains roads take any truck we offer. Above it, on the road to Devprayag, Srinagar Garhwal and beyond, a 32FT container is the wrong vehicle: bends are tight, landslide repair stretches go single lane, and many hotel gates up there cannot take a long body. For hill deliveries we suggest a 14FT Eicher or an Ace / Dost / Pickup, even if it means two trips. Tell us the exact delivery point when you book, and mention if the last stretch is a narrow approach road.
Monsoon matters too. From July to mid-September, slides close the hill road for hours at a time. Plan hill deliveries with a spare day in those months.

Transport rates for Rishikesh
Truck freight rates are not fixed. What a load costs depends on the route, vehicle type, load capacity needed, cargo, pickup date and how many trucks are running that lane that week. What are the payment terms?
Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading once the truck reaches the pickup location, and the remaining Balance at delivery before unloading begins. Accepted: NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments accepted.
Can I book a truck for my own things, not a business load?
Our trucks mostly carry business loads. For a one-off household move to another city, we can supply the truck and driver. Packing, loading and unloading are arranged by you.
