Four platforms, four operating models. TruckGuru and FR8 publicly position their transportation services around full truckload (FTL). WheelsEye offers FTL and a separate part-load service. Trukky offers FTL, part load and parcel services.
The useful question is not which platform is universally best. It is which service model matches the shipment, route, pricing preference and operational requirements of the business.

Network (company-stated) |
26+ lakh trucks; 19,000+ PIN codes |
3,000+ vehicles; 100+ cities |
WheelsEye and Trukky both offer part-load services alongside FTL. On pricing, WheelsEye shows a price range at enquiry and states the exact market price follows within 30 minutes after booking. Trukky provides instant quotation, with some city pages publishing weight-based rate ranges that vary by route and cargo.
Network figures are company-reported and can change. WheelsEye currently publishes different PIN-code figures on different public properties. The figures above should therefore be treated as current company-stated positioning, not audited market size or fleet data.
If you only move full truckloads, all four have publicly stated FTL offerings. The comparison then moves to route coverage, pricing approach, tracking, documentation and other operational requirements.
If some consignments are too small for a dedicated truck, TruckGuru and FR8 are not the fit for that requirement. FR8 states that it does not handle part-load shipments, and TruckGuru is FTL intercity only. WheelsEye runs a separate part-load service, while Trukky offers part load alongside FTL and parcel services.
This is the closest pairing in scope. Both publicly position their transportation services around FTL, serve business shippers and support intercity freight movement.
FR8 currently states that it operates 500+ routes and 40+ branch offices, with 24/7 support. Its transport page says rates are calculated from its own completed shipments, and FR8 describes its model as spot-market based without contract or credit terms.
TruckGuru states that its transportation rate is confirmed before dispatch. For a shipper, the practical comparison is whether a rate confirmed ahead of movement or a market-linked rate based on completed-trip data better fits the operation.
FR8 also states that it does not provide refrigerated or temperature-controlled trucks. For reefer cargo, confirm availability directly with the selected provider before booking.
Both platforms support business truck booking and FTL. The clearest operational difference is the pricing workflow.
WheelsEye currently shows a price range at enquiry and states that the exact market price is provided within 30 minutes after booking. It also offers optional trip insurance up to Rs.50 lakh, multi-point pickup and drop, live tracking and a separate PTL service. WheelsEye states that loading, unloading and packing are not provided.
TruckGuru confirms the transportation rate before dispatch and does not provide cargo insurance; the shipper arranges insurance separately where required.
For businesses with mixed FTL and PTL requirements, WheelsEye has the broader shipment-scope option. For businesses focused on intercity FTL, the comparison is more about route availability, pricing workflow, truck requirement and operational support.
The largest difference is service scope. Trukky publicly offers FTL, part load and door-to-door parcel services, while TruckGuru focuses on intercity FTL.
Trukky city pages publish weight-based freight-rate ranges on some routes. Current examples include interstate ranges starting around Rs.1.3/kg on certain pages, but the actual quote varies by route, cargo, vehicle, loading requirements and market conditions. This figure should therefore be treated as a route-page example, not a universal Trukky price.
For a buyer, the central question is whether the shipment needs a dedicated truck or a shared-load option. If the freight is consistently full-truck, compare FTL capability, route availability, pricing approach, tracking and documentation.

One truck, one commercial consignment, between cities. The scope is deliberately narrow.
TruckGuru publicly lists vehicle options including Tata Ace, Bada Dost and Mahindra Pickup categories, 14ft, 17ft and 19ft vehicles, 20ft containers and 32ft containers. Its public pages state coverage across 110+ cities. Rates are confirmed before dispatch. The platform also lists digital LR, GST invoice and POD, together with live GPS tracking.
TruckGuru does not offer part load, parcel, courier, household shifting, local city delivery, loading labour or cargo insurance. For requirements outside intercity FTL, businesses should select a provider whose public service scope matches the shipment.
Useful next steps: calculate truck freight cost, check the truck size guide, or go to online truck booking.
Which of these platforms offer part load?
WheelsEye and Trukky. WheelsEye runs a separate PTL service alongside FTL. Trukky offers FTL, part load and parcel. TruckGuru is intercity FTL only, and FR8 states that it does not handle part-load shipments.
What is the difference between TruckGuru and FR8?
Both publicly position their transportation services around FTL. FR8 currently states 500+ routes, 40+ branch offices, 24/7 support and pricing based on completed-trip data. TruckGuru states that its transportation rate is confirmed before dispatch. The practical choice depends on route, support and pricing workflow.
How does WheelsEye pricing differ from TruckGuru?
WheelsEye states that it shows a price range at enquiry and provides the exact market price within 30 minutes after booking. TruckGuru states that the transportation rate is confirmed before dispatch.
Which platforms offer cargo insurance?
WheelsEye offers optional trip insurance up to Rs.50 lakh at booking. Trukky offers transit insurance options. TruckGuru does not provide cargo insurance; the shipper arranges it separately. FR8 does not state insurance as a booking feature on the reviewed transport pages.
Can I book part load on TruckGuru?
No. TruckGuru is intercity FTL only. WheelsEye and Trukky publicly offer part-load services.
Do these platforms provide loading labour?
WheelsEye states that loading, unloading and packing are not provided. TruckGuru does not include loading labour. FR8 does not clearly specify this on the reviewed transport page. Trukky states that loading and unloading charges are not included in freight. Confirm the exact labour arrangement before booking.
Which platform suits a manufacturer with recurring intercity full-truck lanes?
If the priority is a transportation rate confirmed before dispatch, TruckGuru fits that requirement. If branch support and market-based completed-trip rates are important, FR8 may fit. If some shipments are part load, WheelsEye or Trukky may be more relevant because both offer PTL.
Are the network figures on these sites reliable?
Treat them as company-reported positioning figures rather than independently audited specifications. Public figures can change and may differ between pages on the same site. Confirm current figures directly if they materially affect a procurement decision.
Does TruckGuru provide intercity FTL transportation?
Yes. TruckGuru publicly positions its service as intercity FTL transportation and states coverage across 110+ cities.
Serving leading enterprises, government organizations, manufacturers, retailers, and industrial businesses with reliable truck transportation services across India.

“We ship auto components from our Pune plant to distributors in eight states. Earlier every dispatch meant three or four calls to brokers just to get a rate. Now we check the fare online, confirm the truck, and track it on GPS till delivery. Our team saves close to two hours on every booking.”
“Our textile unit in Surat moves fifteen to twenty truckloads a month to retailers across South India. TruckGuru gave us one dashboard to book, one number to call, and the GST invoice reaches us the same day. Rates are competitive with no surprise charges at delivery, and that consistency matters when you ship every week.”
“We run a packaging materials unit in Ahmedabad and dispatch to factories across Maharashtra and Rajasthan. What sold us on TruckGuru was the rate transparency. The price we saw online was the price we paid, with no broker markup and nothing added at the weighbridge. Fourteen months in and we have not had a single billing dispute.”
“I handle procurement for a pharma distributor in Hyderabad and our cargo needs careful handling. TruckGuru gives us a coordinator who checks that every truck is clean and covered before loading. The digital LR and POD reach my inbox before the driver leaves the drop point, which saves us a lot during audits.”

FTL means the entire truck carries only your goods. It picks up from your location and goes directly to the destination, no stops to consolidate other shipments, no detours. This is the right choice when you have enough volume to fill, or mostly fill, a truck, or when transit time matters.
Yes. Every truck on our platform carries GPS. Once your shipment moves, you can see its exact location from the app, no need to call the driver every few hours. You can also share the tracking link with your buyer or warehouse team so they know when to expect the delivery and can plan unloading accordingly.
Yes. Select your dispatch date when placing the booking and we will arrange the truck for that day. Advance booking helps during peak seasons, October through December, when festival demand and year-end dispatches tighten truck availability.
Yes. If you need to collect goods from more than one location or deliver to multiple destinations in a single trip, mention the stops when placing your booking. Our team will plan the route and confirm the fare covering all points before dispatch.
You can cancel before vehicle and driver details are shared, no charge applies. Once we assign a truck and share the details, the booking amount is non-refundable because the driver has already committed time and fuel.
Our truck fare covers transportation only. Loading, unloading, and packing are arranged separately at your end. If you need help finding labour at a specific location, reach out to our team, we can usually connect you with someone in the area who handles it regularly.
Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading, Balance due before unloading begins. We accept NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments are accepted.
Yes. Toll charges are included in the quoted freight rate on all intercity routes. You will not receive a separate toll bill after delivery. The rate confirmed at booking covers the full point-to-point movement.
We transport commercial and industrial goods including machinery, raw materials, FMCG products, textiles, auto parts, building materials, electronics, and agricultural produce. We do not transport household belongings for relocation, hazardous materials requiring special permits, or any restricted goods under Indian transport regulations.
A GST-compliant invoice is generated and sent to your registered email once the consignment is delivered. The Lorry Receipt (LR) is shared at the time of dispatch. Proof of Delivery (POD) is sent digitally after unloading is complete. If your accounts team needs a specific format or a consolidated monthly statement for multiple shipments, write to cs@truckguru.co.in.
The first 2 hours after the truck arrives at your location are free. After that, waiting charges range from Rs.1,000 to Rs.5,000 per day depending on the vehicle type. Keep your goods and paperwork, including GST invoice, e-Way Bill, and packing list, ready before the truck arrives to avoid delays.
GST on goods transport applies under the Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) at 5%. This means the shipper is responsible for filing and paying the GST on the transport service, not TruckGuru. Our invoices are GST-compliant and include all the details your accounts team needs for filing.
The consignor or consignee must generate Part A and Part B of the e-Way Bill before goods move. This is mandatory under GST rules for consignments valued above Rs.50,000. TruckGuru does not generate the e-Way Bill on your behalf, but our team can guide you through the process if needed.
Report any damage at the time of delivery to our team at +91-7202045678 with photographs taken before unloading. We investigate each claim on a case-by-case basis. We strongly recommend that shippers arrange their own transit insurance for high-value consignments, as TruckGuru's liability is limited to the terms agreed at the time of booking.
No. TruckGuru provides full truckload (FTL) intercity goods transport only. We do not handle parcels, courier shipments, bike transport, car transport, household shifting, or within-city local deliveries. If you need these services, we recommend contacting a specialist provider in your city.
Call +91-7202045678 or email cs@truckguru.co.in. Our customer support team is available Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and Sunday 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM. For booking queries, you can also use the website or the TruckGuru app on the Play Store. TruckGuru does not share your contact details with any outside agencies.
Start with the weight and dimensions of your goods, not the truck size. A 2-ton textile shipment from Surat to Mumbai fits comfortably in an Eicher 14FT (3.5T capacity, Rs.31-35/km). Picking the wrong truck size is the most common reason shippers overpay on freight.
Get your rate confirmed before the truck is dispatched. On TruckGuru, the price you see at booking is the price you pay. The split is simple: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading, Balance due before unloading. If a platform or broker revises the rate at the loading dock, that is a red flag.
Check whether the transporter provides live GPS tracking and digital documentation including LR, invoice, and POD. Chasing a driver by phone for location updates wastes hours every trip. On busy corridors like Ahmedabad-Mumbai or Delhi-Jaipur, a single delayed update can throw off your warehouse unloading schedule.
Book 2-3 days ahead when possible. Same-day availability is common on most routes, but during October-December peak season, trucks on high-demand corridors fill up fast. Advance booking also gives you better vehicle options for goods that need closed-body or containerised transport.
