Where Bangalore's trucks go
Chennai is the busiest route, carrying auto parts, electronics and consumer goods to the port and to Tamil Nadu's plants. Hyderabad and Pune follow, mostly engineering goods and electronics. Mumbai gets garments, electronics and machine tools. Kerala and Coimbatore take FMCG and building material from the Nelamangala warehouses.
The destination matters for how you book. Chennai and Coimbatore are overnight runs. Hyderabad is a long day. Pune and Mumbai need 2 days, crossing the Karnataka-Maharashtra border at Nipani, where e-way bill checks are regular.
Getting trucks out of the city
Bangalore's traffic is the biggest variable in any dispatch from the city. Heavy vehicles face entry restrictions on many city roads during the day, and the Hosur road, Tumkur road and Old Madras road all jam in the morning and evening.
What works: load in the afternoon at Peenya or Bommasandra, and let the truck leave after 9 pm. It clears the city on the NICE road or the peripheral roads and is on the highway before midnight. For Nelamangala and Hoskote warehouses, which sit outside the worst traffic, morning loadings work fine.
Common problems, and what we do about them
Three issues come up again and again with Bangalore dispatches.
The first is waiting at the gate. Large plants in Bommasandra, Hoskote and Electronic City run gate passes, safety inductions and fixed loading slots. A truck that arrives without a pre-issued pass can sit outside for three hours. Send us the plant's gate pass format a day before, and we share the vehicle number, driver's name and licence in advance.
The second is the Nipani and Hosur border checks. Karnataka to Maharashtra and Karnataka to Tamil Nadu crossings see regular e-way bill checks. A wrong vehicle number or an expired e-way bill holds the truck. Check both before dispatch.
The third is weather. Bangalore's own roads flood quickly in heavy rain, especially around Silk Board, Bellandur and Hebbal, from May to October. A heavy evening shower can hold a truck in the city for hours. We watch the forecasts and move loading times when needed.
Seasons that affect availability
October and November, before Diwali, are the tightest months, as FMCG and electronics brands move stock out of Nelamangala and Hoskote. March, at financial year-end, is the other peak. Trucks for Chennai and Hyderabad stay available most of the year because return loads into Bangalore are plentiful. Trucks for Mumbai and Pune can take a day longer to arrange.

Heavy and oversized loads
Peenya's machine tool makers and the aerospace suppliers around Whitefield sometimes ship items that are wider or taller than a normal truck body. A CNC machine can weigh 6 to 10 ton on a footprint smaller than the truck floor. For these, share the weight, length, width and height at booking, along with photos if you can. We check whether a standard 20ft or 32ft open truck can carry it, or whether it needs a flatbed trailer.
Plan for crane or forklift loading at your end. Most trucks do not carry loading equipment, and a machine that cannot be lifted onto the deck delays the whole trip.
Booking and payment
Book online or through the TruckGuru app. After you book, the driver's details reach you before the truck reports. Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading once the truck reaches the pickup location, and the remaining Balance at delivery before unloading begins. Accepted: NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments accepted.
