Book Tata AceVikarabad is close to Hyderabad, but not close enough for us
Vikarabad town sits about 75 km west of Hyderabad, on the road toward Tandur and the Karnataka border. That distance matters for what we book. Hyderabad drops are under 100 km, so they fall outside TruckGuru's service. What we do book is a mini truck (Chota Hathi) on rent in Vikarabad for goods going further: into north Karnataka, eastern Telangana, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.
You get the vehicle with a driver, carrying your load alone from your gate to the receiver.
What leaves Vikarabad district in small vehicles
This is farming and quarry country. The district grows red gram, cotton, jowar and vegetables, and the Tandur side is known for its polished limestone slabs and cement. Small traders and processors here send:
- Bagged pulses and red gram dal to wholesalers in Solapur and Kalaburagi
- Vegetables and fresh produce to markets in Kurnool and Nizamabad, on early-morning runs
- Cut Tandur stone samples and tiles to dealers, in small lots
- Agri inputs, sprayers and pump parts coming back from Hyderabad suppliers to shops further out
Watch the weight. A Tata Ace (also called Chota Hathi) is rated for 750 kg - 1,100 kg, and both stone and bagged dal reach that in very little space. Twenty 50 kg bags is a full tonne. These are approximate; the exact figure depends on your village or mandal. Roads out of Vikarabad are two-lane for a good part of the way, and the Ananthagiri hill section is slow in heavy rain.
One judgment call worth sharing: for Warangal, the outer ring road around Hyderabad saves time only if the vehicle joins it before about 8 AM. After that, the ORR merges back up with goods traffic and the saving disappears.

Yes, in small lots, packed in wooden frames. Stone is heavy, so declare the real weight.
Is the vehicle only for my goods?
Yes. One vehicle per consignment, no part load.
Do you provide loading labour?
No. Loading and unloading labour is arranged by you.
Do I need an e-way bill for Solapur?
If the goods are worth more than 50,000 rupees, yes. The consignor or consignee generates it. Some agricultural produce is exempt; check with your accountant.

What are the payment terms?
Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading once the truck reaches the pickup location, and the remaining Balance at delivery before unloading begins. Accepted: NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments accepted.
My son is moving to Kurnool. Can he use it?
Our trucks mostly carry business loads. For a one-off household move to another city, we can supply the truck and driver. Packing, loading and unloading are arranged by you.
Is an open or closed Chota Hathi (mini truck) better for vegetables?
Open with tarpaulin allows airflow for fresh produce. For packed dal or cartons, the closed body is safer in the rains. The truck type page compares both.
