Book Tata AceCrates, not cartons
Rajkot's engineering trade ships in wooden crates. Submersible pumps, diesel engines, motor bodies, bearing housings, forged flanges and CNC-machined parts leave Shapar-Veraval, Metoda and Aji GIDC in boxes built to take a knock, and the typical dealer order weighs between one and two and a half ton. What to tell us about the crates
The 407 carries about 2.5 ton. A single engine crate can be 400-600 kg, so five of them get close. Share the crate count, each crate's weight, and the largest crate's length and height. Tall crates matter because they shift on a braking truck unless they are tied off at the top. If a crate needs a forklift or crane to lift, arrange one at both ends; loading and unloading labour and equipment are arranged by the customer.

Lanes out of Rajkot
Morbi and Gondal are too close, so we do not book them, and we do not do deliveries inside Rajkot. The outbound lanes we book most often are:

Loading at Shapar, Metoda and Aji
Shapar-Veraval units along the Gondal highway are easy to reach and trucks get in and out fast. The narrower internal roads of Aji GIDC and parts of Bhaktinagar are tighter; a 407 fits where a 19FT Eicher struggles, which is one reason Rajkot dispatchers like it. Most factories load in the morning and want the 407 at the gate by 9 or 10 AM.
Pump sales peak before the monsoon, from March to May, when farmers buy for the season. 407s are in demand then. Book two or three days ahead for dealer dispatches in those months.
Documents and tracking
Engineering goods usually cross 50,000 rupees in value, so an e-way bill is needed; the consignor or consignee generates it. We issue a digital Lorry Receipt at loading, track the 407 by GPS until unloading, and send a GST invoice after delivery. Transit insurance is arranged by you.

What are the payment terms?
Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading once the truck reaches the pickup location, and the remaining Balance at delivery before unloading begins. Accepted: NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments accepted.
Can one crate go in a truck with other goods?
No. Every booking is a full truck for one consignment. For a single light crate, a Tata Ace may suit better.
Can I get the vehicle number before the truck arrives?
Yes. We share the vehicle number and driver phone once the 407 is assigned.
