Book Tata AceWhich side of the Outer Ring Road are you loading on?
Ranga Reddy wraps around Hyderabad on the south, east and west, so a pickup here can mean a pharma unit at Kothur, a packaging plant near Shadnagar, a trader at Hayathnagar on the Vijayawada road, or a fabrication shop off the Srisailam highway at Maheshwaram. Those points are 60 km apart and leave the district on different highways. Before we quote a Tata 407 on rent in Ranga Reddy, the first thing our team asks is the exact pickup village or industrial area and which ORR exit is closest. It changes the route, the time and the truck we can place.

Three exits, three sets of lanes
South on NH44, from Shamshabad, Kothur and Shadnagar
This side sends pharma packing material, FMCG cartons and bulk drug intermediates towards Kurnool (about 170 km from Shadnagar), Anantapur (about 330 km) and Bangalore (about 540 km). For Kurnool, same-day delivery is possible if the truck loads early; otherwise next day. Bangalore usually takes 1 - 2 days, as the driver stops for the night.
East on NH65, from Hayathnagar and Abdullapurmet
The Vijayawada highway carries steel items, pipes, electricals and grocery stock to Suryapet (about 120 km), Vijayawada (about 260 km) and Guntur (about 290 km). Expect delivery within 1 day to Vijayawada. The toll plaza queues at Pantangi add time on Friday evenings and before festivals.
North and west, around the ring road
Loads from Ibrahimpatnam or Chevella going to Warangal (about 160 km) or Nagpur (about 510 km) usually go round on the ORR rather than through the city. The ring road is longer in km but saves two to three hours of city traffic, and for a 407 carrying 2.5 ton that is the better trade.
Is 2.5 ton the right size?
A 407 sits between the small pickups and the Eichers. Below about a tonne, a Tata Ace (750 kg - 1,100 kg) is enough and costs less. Between a tonne and 2.5 ton, the 407 fits. Above that, move to a 14FT Eicher for 3.5 ton or a 19FT Eicher for 7 ton, and full plant dispatches go in a 32FT container. Pharma cartons are light and bulky, so a load of packing material can fill the 407 deck at well under its weight limit. Measure the volume, not just the weight. Trips inside Hyderabad or between two points in the district are not something we book. Every trip is over 100 km.
What we need from you at booking
- Pickup location with the nearest landmark or ORR exit, and the drop city
- Approximate weight and number of cartons or pieces
- Gate timing at both ends, especially if the receiving warehouse has a slot system
- Whether the cargo needs a covered body
Once the booking is placed, on the website or the TruckGuru app, our team calls back within 30 minutes in working hours (Mon-Sat 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM, Sun 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM). You get a digital Lorry Receipt at loading, GPS tracking until delivery and a GST invoice after the goods are unloaded. Truck freight rates are not fixed. What a load costs depends on the route, vehicle type, load capacity needed, cargo, pickup date and how many trucks are running that lane that week. A pickup at Shadnagar and one at Hayathnagar going to the same city can price differently, simply because of where the nearest free 407 is parked that morning.

We are in Kothur. How long to Bangalore with a 407?
Bangalore is about 540 km from the Kothur side. Plan on delivery within 1 - 2 days, since the driver rests at night. Share the receiving warehouse timing and we plan the start around it.
Can you pick up from Maheshwaram and drop in Vijayawada?
Yes. The 407 would usually take the ORR to the Vijayawada highway rather than cut through the city. It is about 270 km, usually delivered within 1 day.
Do you do Shamshabad to Hyderabad city?
No. That is under 100 km. We only book intercity trips.
Our pharma cartons are light but many. Will they fit in a 407?
Send us the carton count and size. Light cartons often fill the deck before they reach 2.5 ton, and a 14FT Eicher may be the better choice even though the weight is low.
Is the rate same from every part of Ranga Reddy?
No. Rates are not fixed. They change with the pickup point, the date, the load and how many trucks are free nearby. You get the trip price with toll included when you book.
Who loads the goods?
You do, or your labour contractor. Loading and unloading are arranged by the customer. The driver secures the load and covers it with a tarpaulin.
We need a closed body for cartons in the rain. Possible?
Ask for a covered body at booking. For anything that must stay dry through the monsoon, a 20FT container is safer than a tarpaulin.
Can we see where the truck is on the way to Kurnool?
Yes. GPS tracking runs from dispatch to delivery on every booking.
What are the payment terms?
Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading once the truck reaches the pickup location, and the remaining Balance at delivery before unloading begins. Accepted: NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments accepted.
Can one 407 carry our load and another company's load together?
No. Every booking is one truck for one consignment. We do not run part loads.
Can you also carry a family's goods to another city?
Our trucks mostly carry business loads. For a one-off household move to another city, we can supply the truck and driver. Packing, loading and unloading are arranged by you.
