Pharma and chemical loads: what to get right

Most loads out of Jeedimetla are pharma or chemical, and the paperwork matters as much as the packing. The invoice should carry the drug licence numbers of both the sender and the buyer where applicable. Keep the MSDS for any chemical with the invoice, as state border checks can ask for it.

Drums and HDPE containers must be sealed, upright and tied down. Fibre drums of powder should be wrapped against moisture. We recommend a closed-body Tata Ace for every pharma load, both for weather and for cleanliness.

If a product is classed as hazardous, tell us the name and UN number when you book. It needs a permitted vehicle, and we confirm one before you pay.

What we do not carry

We do not run temperature-controlled vehicles. Products that must stay within a set temperature range, such as vaccines or some biologics, need a cold chain operator. Ambient-stable APIs, intermediates, excipients and packaging are fine.

Getting out of Jeedimetla

Jeedimetla is close to NH-44 heading north, which makes Nagpur and Karimnagar trips quick to start. Trips to Vijayawada and Chennai have to cross the city or use the Outer Ring Road; we route through the ORR to avoid peak traffic. Evening loadings are common for Chennai and Nagpur, so the vehicle runs overnight and delivers the next morning.

Month-end and audit season

Pharma units in Jeedimetla push dispatches hard in the last week of every month and in March. Small vehicles get booked quickly in those weeks, and loading bays at the bigger units run long queues.
