Is it a next-day delivery?
Usually, yes. The Vadodara to Kota transport trip is about 500 km, and transit is 1 day. A truck loaded by late morning in Vadodara generally reaches Kota the next morning after the driver's night halt.
Drivers take one of two broad lines: through Dahod and the Madhya Pradesh side via Ratlam, or north through Udaipur and Chittorgarh on the Rajasthan side. Either way the load leaves Gujarat for another state, so an e-way bill is needed for goods above Rs.50,000, generated by the consignor or consignee.

Plant spares and motors need protection from dust and rain, so a 20FT container is a safe call. Plastic goods and cartons are light and bulky; a 32FT container carries the most volume. For a single machine part or a small top-up, an Ace / Dost / Pickup takes up to 1,100 kg.

Our view on timing
Kota is a short enough lane that last-minute bookings usually work. The exception is the weeks after the kharif and rabi harvests, when grain and soybean movement out of the Hadoti mandis takes up a lot of trucks in the region. In October-November and March-April, book 2 days ahead.
Where things go wrong
Gate timings at the big plants. Large chemical and fertiliser units often accept inbound trucks only in fixed windows and need a gate pass raised in advance by the purchase team. If the truck arrives without one, it waits outside, sometimes overnight. Ask your buyer for the gate pass and contact before we dispatch.
The second is loading delays at Vadodara. If the truck reports at 10 am and loading finishes at 6 pm, it will not be in Kota the next morning. Have the goods packed and the invoice ready before the truck arrives.
Tracking and paperwork
Every trip is GPS tracked from dispatch to delivery. You receive a digital Lorry Receipt at loading and a GST invoice after delivery. Loading and unloading labour, and transit insurance, are arranged by the customer.
