Mostly three kinds of shipper. Handicraft and furniture exporters in Basni and Boranada, sending finished pieces and sample lots to buyers' consolidators in Jaipur or to warehouses near the Gujarat ports. Guar and spice processors, dispatching bagged product to traders in Ahmedabad and Jaipur. And distributors restocking dealers across western Rajasthan, in towns like Barmer and Bikaner that sit a few hours away across the desert. The common thread is size: loads of 500 kg to a tonne, going far enough that a local tempo does not make sense.

Heat is the first planning point
From April to June, daytime temperatures in Jodhpur regularly cross 44 degrees. Drivers here start early for a reason. Engines run hot on the long, empty stretches to Barmer and Bikaner, and a breakdown at 2 PM on that road is a long wait. We schedule summer dispatches for dawn or evening wherever the receiver can take the delivery. Lacquered furniture and resin-finished handicrafts also do better out of the midday sun, which is another reason to ask for a closed body.

Ace / Dost / Pickup: Up to 1,100 kg. Closed-body version: up to 1.5 ton.
Carved wooden furniture is the tricky cargo. It is bulky, fragile at the edges, and a single sideboard can take half the deck. Wrap it with blankets or bubble sheet before the vehicle arrives; the driver will tie it but not pack it. Bagged guar or chilli is the opposite, dense and easy to stack.

Udaipur takes longer than its distance suggests because the last stretch runs through the Aravalli hills. The Ahmedabad lane goes through Pali and Abu Road; most of our Jodhpur-to-Gujarat vehicles leave in the evening and deliver next morning.
Booking and documents
Send pickup, drop, weight, cargo and date through the website or the TruckGuru app. We call back within 30 minutes during working hours (Mon-Sat 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM, Sun 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM).
At loading, a digital Lorry Receipt is issued. The vehicle is GPS tracked to delivery and the GST invoice follows. Loading and unloading labour and transit insurance are arranged by you. For goods worth more than 50,000 rupees, the consignor or consignee generates the e-way bill. Export consignments usually travel with the exporter's invoice and packing list as well.
What it costs
Truck freight rates are not fixed. What a load costs depends on the route, vehicle type, load capacity needed, cargo, pickup date and how many trucks are running that lane that week. Jaipur and Ahmedabad have regular vehicles coming back to Jodhpur; Barmer and Bikaner are thinner lanes, and the quote reflects whether a return load exists.

Can I send two carved almirahs to Jaipur in a mini truck?
Probably, depending on their size. Share dimensions and weight. Wrap them before loading, because we do not pack.
What is the weight limit?
Up to 1,100 kg on the Ace / Dost / Pickup, up to 1.5 ton on a closed-body Bada Dost.
Can you do Jodhpur to Pali?
No. Pali is under 100 km. We book intercity trips over that only.
Why do you want to dispatch early in May?
Heat. Midday temperatures above 44 degrees are hard on vehicles and drivers on the desert roads. Early starts reduce breakdown risk.
How long to Ahmedabad?
About 450 km, usually within 1 day. An evening dispatch usually delivers the next morning.
Is it only my goods in the vehicle?
Yes. One vehicle per consignment.
Who loads the furniture?
You arrange loading and unloading. The driver ties the load down.
Is the rate to Bikaner fixed?
No. Rates are not fixed and change with date and availability. Check the live rate at booking.
Can I move personal items to Jaipur?
Our trucks mostly carry business loads. For a one-off household move to another city, we can supply the truck and driver. Packing, loading and unloading are arranged by you.
What are the payment terms?
Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading once the truck reaches the pickup location, and the remaining Balance at delivery before unloading begins. Accepted: NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments accepted.
Can I see where the vehicle is?
Yes. GPS tracking runs from dispatch to delivery and shows in the app.
