Book Tata AceFrom Basni and Boranada to the rest of the country
Jodhpur's export trade runs on samples. A handicraft unit in Basni or Boranada ships a container of wooden and iron goods once a quarter, but in between it sends dozens of smaller consignments: sample pieces to a buyer's agent in Jaipur, finished lots to a consolidator in Ahmedabad, polish and hardware coming back in. Those loads are too big for a courier and far too small for a truck.
Our tempo service in Jodhpur is built for that middle. TruckGuru books an Ace or Bada Dost class tempo with driver, for one consignment, going more than 100 km. The tempo drives straight to your receiver. Local trips inside Jodhpur, or to places like Pali under 100 km away, are not offered.

Stone is where people get the size wrong. Sandstone is heavy for its volume, and a pallet that looks half a tempo can already be over 1,100 kg. Heat, distance and when to load
May and June in Jodhpur regularly cross 45 degrees. That matters for wax-finished handicrafts, chocolates and some chemicals, which can soften in an open tempo under a tarpaulin. For those months we suggest a closed-body Bada Dost (up to 1.5 ton) and a late evening loading, so the tempo covers the desert stretch at night.

The Udaipur road climbs through the Aravallis after Pali and is slower than the km suggest. Ahmedabad runs cross into Gujarat past Abu Road; for loads going further into Gujarat, see hire truck in Ahmedabad.
Tempo rates from Jodhpur
Truck freight rates are not fixed. They move with lane, vehicle, cargo, pickup date and how many tempos are free that week. Jaipur and Ahmedabad are busy lanes, so tempos are easier to find than for Barmer, where fewer drivers expect a return load. Every price is per trip with toll included.

How a booking runs
Put in pickup, drop, weight and date on the site or the app. A callback comes within 30 minutes during working hours (Mon-Sat 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM, Sun 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM). The driver carries a digital Lorry Receipt from loading, the tempo is GPS tracked, and the GST invoice arrives after delivery. Can a tempo go from Boranada to Jaipur tonight?
Often yes if you book before the afternoon. Jaipur is about 335 km, and an evening start reaches the city early next morning.
Do you deliver inside Jodhpur or to Pali?
No. Both are under 100 km. We only book intercity trips over 100 km.
How many sandstone tiles fit in a tempo?
Go by weight, not space. The limit is 1,100 kg for an open Ace. Give us the tile size and count and we will tell you if a 14FT Eicher is safer.
My goods melt in the heat. What should I book?
A closed-body tempo with an evening loading. It keeps direct sun off and the tempo crosses the hottest stretch at night.
Is an e-way bill needed for Jodhpur to Ahmedabad?
Yes if the goods are worth more than Rs.50,000. It is an interstate trip, and the consignor or consignee generates the bill.
Will someone else's goods ride with mine?
No. One consignment per tempo, direct delivery.
Who loads the tempo?
Loading and unloading labour is arranged by you. The driver ties and covers the load.
Can I watch the tempo on the way?
Yes. GPS tracking runs from dispatch to delivery, on the app or by calling us.
Can I send my own items to Jaipur?
Our trucks mostly carry business loads. For a one-off household move to another city, we can supply the truck and driver. Packing, loading and unloading are arranged by you.
What are the payment terms?
Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading once the truck reaches the pickup location, and the remaining Balance at delivery before unloading begins. Accepted: NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments accepted.
Why is Barmer harder to book than Jaipur?
Fewer tempos find a load back from Barmer, so drivers are pickier about taking it. Book a day ahead for that lane. Rates are not fixed and reflect this.
