Jaisalmer is about 285 km from Jodhpur and there is not much in between. A hotel there that needs 600 kg of kitchen supplies, or a contractor waiting on pump spares, cannot wait for a truck to fill up. TruckGuru rents the Ace with driver for trips over 100 km. One consignment per vehicle, going straight to the receiver. We do not take deliveries inside Jodhpur or to Pali and other towns within 100 km.

Three things that go wrong with Ace bookings here
Weight guessed low. The Ace / Dost / Pickup class carries up to 1,100 kg. Cumin sacks, pipes and stone are dense, and an overloaded Ace gets stopped. Weigh it. If it is over a tonne, a 14FT Eicher takes 3.5 ton; see Eicher truck rental.
Open body in a dust storm. April to June brings dust storms across the Thar. Closed-body Bada Dost vehicles, which carry up to 1.5 ton, keep packed food and electronics clean.
No labour at the drop. Loading and unloading labour is arranged by you, at both ends. In small towns like Nagaur, book the unloaders before the Ace leaves Jodhpur.

Truck freight rates are not fixed. What a load costs depends on the route, vehicle type, load capacity needed, cargo, pickup date and how many trucks are running that lane that week. Westbound trips to Jaisalmer rarely get a return load, so drivers price that direction with the empty run back in mind.

Enter pickup, drop, weight and date on the site or TruckGuru mobile app. We call back within 30 minutes during working hours (Mon-Sat 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM, Sun 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM). The driver gets a digital Lorry Receipt at loading, the Ace is GPS tracked to delivery, and the GST invoice follows. Transit insurance is arranged by the customer. Do you deliver from Jodhpur to Pali?
No. Pali is under 100 km, and we only book intercity trips over 100 km.
How many cumin bags fit in an Ace?
Go by weight. The limit is 1,100 kg for an open Ace, so count your bags against that, not the deck space.
Is the Ace covered from dust?
Ask for a closed body. Open ones carry a tarpaulin, which does not keep fine desert dust out.
Is an e-way bill needed for Jodhpur to Bikaner?
Yes, if the goods are worth over 50,000 rupees, even inside Rajasthan. The consignor or consignee generates it.
Will you add another load to my Ace?
No. One consignment per vehicle.
Who loads and unloads?
You arrange labour at both ends. The driver secures the load with rope and tarpaulin.
How do I track the Ace to Delhi?
GPS tracking runs from dispatch to delivery on the app. On a 600 km trip the driver rests overnight, and the tracker shows that stop.
Can I rent the Ace for my own things going to Jaipur?
Our trucks mostly carry business loads. For a one-off household move to another city, we can supply the truck and driver. Packing, loading and unloading are arranged by you.
What are the payment terms?
Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading once the truck reaches the pickup location, and the remaining Balance at delivery before unloading begins. Accepted: NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments accepted.
Why is Jaisalmer priced higher than Bikaner for similar km?
Rates are not fixed, and a lane with no return load prices differently. The live rate at booking reflects the actual lane that day.
