Timing and what to watch for
The sugar crushing season, roughly November to April, is when mill spares and chemicals are urgent and trucks on this lane are busiest. Book 2-3 days ahead in those months.
Shirdi traffic is the other thing. Festival days and weekends bring heavy pilgrim traffic on the Kopargaon-Shirdi stretch; a driver passing on a Thursday or a holiday can lose an hour or two.
