The drive south
The road distance is about 1,010 km, and transit is 2-3 days. The truck runs south out of Gujarat, through Maharashtra, and into north Karnataka. That is an inter-state movement through two borders, so goods above Rs.50,000 need an e-way bill, generated by the consignor or consignee and carried with the invoice.
The last stretch around Hosapete and Ballari carries heavy mining and steel traffic. Movement near the plant gates is slow, and arrival in daylight is easier for everyone.
What goes wrong on deliveries to the plants
The truck reaches on time and then waits at the gate. Big steel and mining sites verify every consignment against a purchase order, weigh trucks in and out, and receive only in certain hours. A missing PO number or a consignee contact who does not answer can cost a full day. Put the PO on the invoice, and send us the stores contact when you book.

Entry is controlled by the plant. Your consignee arranges the gate pass and shares the stores contact; the driver carries the invoice, e-way bill and Lorry Receipt.

Yes, toll is included. Rates are not fixed and are confirmed at the time of booking.
Do you run trucks to Hosapete every day?

Is unloading included?
No. Unloading labour, like loading labour, is arranged by you or your consignee. Large plants have their own handling crew.
What are the payment terms?
Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading once the truck reaches the pickup location, and the remaining Balance at delivery before unloading begins. Accepted: NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments accepted.
