A tempo can reach the Hinjewadi flyover from the Mumbai-Bangalore highway in ten minutes at 6 AM. At 9:30 AM the same stretch can take an hour, and Phase 2 and Phase 3 are worse around 6 PM when the campuses empty out. For a small intercity load from Hinjewadi, the loading slot matters more than anything else you decide. Get it wrong and the tempo spends the morning in a queue at Wakad instead of on the expressway.

Slots that work, from what we have seen
- Early morning, 6 to 8 AM. Best for Mumbai. The tempo clears the expressway toll before the office traffic and reaches Navi Mumbai by late morning.
- Late morning, 11 AM to 2 PM. Fine for Kolhapur and Satara going south, when the inbound rush has died down.
- Weekends. Easiest for office loads, but only if your facility team has cleared a Saturday or Sunday gate pass with the campus security in advance.
Avoid a 5 PM loading for anything headed to Mumbai. By the time the tempo is out of Phase 1, the ghat will be heavy too.
What goes in a Hinjewadi tempo
Laptops and desktops in cartons, monitors, network switches, UPS units and battery banks, lab and test equipment, office chairs, and stock from the small e-commerce sellers in Maan and Marunji. Much of it is electronics that must stay dry, so ask for the closed-body version, which carries up to 1.5 ton. An open Ace / Dost / Pickup takes 750 kg - 1,100 kg and suits chairs and steel racks with a tarpaulin.
UPS battery banks are heavy for their size. Twenty lead-acid batteries can be close to a tonne on their own. Weigh them, or give us the model and count, before you assume one tempo is enough.

Tempo rates from Hinjewadi

The booking and the paperwork
Book on the website or the TruckGuru app with pickup building and phase, drop address, weight and your slot. We call back within 30 minutes during working hours (Mon-Sat 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM, Sun 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM). A digital Lorry Receipt is issued at loading, the tempo is GPS tracked to delivery, and a GST invoice follows.
IT assets moving between two offices of the same company still need a delivery challan, and an e-way bill when the value is above 50,000 rupees, generated by the consignor or consignee. Your facility or finance team usually handles it. Loading and unloading labour, and transit insurance for costly equipment, are arranged by you.

Transit insurance is arranged by the customer. Many companies already have a policy that covers assets in transit; check with your admin team.

Our trucks mostly carry business loads. For a one-off household move to another city, we can supply the truck and driver. Packing, loading and unloading are arranged by you.
What are the payment terms?
Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading once the truck reaches the pickup location, and the remaining Balance at delivery before unloading begins. Accepted: NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments accepted.
Is toll extra on the expressway?
No. Toll is included in the trip quote. Rates are not fixed, so confirm the figure at booking.
