Crossing three states with the right papers
The truck runs through Maharashtra and Karnataka before ending in Tamil Nadu. For goods above Rs.50,000 an e-way bill is needed, generated by the consignor or consignee. For JNPT import cargo, keep the bill of entry copy with the driver as well. The digital Lorry Receipt is issued at loading and the GST invoice after delivery.
