Book Tata AceTwo places generate most of the small loads we see leaving Navi Mumbai. One is the Vashi APMC, where wholesalers of dry fruits, spices, grains and FMCG supply traders across Maharashtra. The other is the Thane-Belapur industrial belt through Turbhe, Mahape, Pawne and Rabale, lined with chemical, engineering and electronics units. A Tata Ace from either end often carries under a ton, and it usually goes to Pune, Nashik or further.

Loads from the APMC
Dry fruit, spice and grain traders at Vashi sell to shops in Pune, Nashik and Aurangabad. Their loads are bags and cartons of 400 kg to 1,200 kg, which fits a Tata Ace. The market has fixed entry and loading hours, and the lanes inside get crowded after 10 am. Early loadings go smoothest.
Loads from the MIDC belt
Chemical units in the TTC industrial area send small drum and carboy loads to customers in Pune and Surat. Electronics and engineering units in Mahape and Rabale send cartons of components. For chemicals, keep the MSDS with the invoice. If the product is hazardous, tell us the name and UN number at booking, since it needs a permitted vehicle.
Is a Tata Ace enough?
The Tata Ace carries up to 1,100 kg with a deck of about 7 to 8 feet. For heavier or longer loads, the Bada Dost takes 1.5 ton at the same fare band, and a 14ft truck takes 3.5 ton. The truck size guide compares them. Grain bags and chemical drums hit the weight limit first, so weigh before loading.
On the road
Navi Mumbai to Pune is an expressway run where same-day delivery is possible if the truck loads early; otherwise next day. Nashik trips take the Samruddhi or the old Mumbai-Nashik highway through Kasara ghat, which slows in heavy rain. Surat trips go up the Western Express route and NH-48, and traffic near Ghodbunder Road can add an hour in the evening.
From June to September, ask for a closed body or full tarpaulin. Navi Mumbai sees some of the heaviest rain in the region.
Payment
Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading once the truck reaches the pickup location, and the remaining Balance at delivery before unloading begins. Accepted: NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments accepted.
