Bangalore to Pune Transport Service
Distance: ~840 km via NH-48 through Hubli and Kolhapur
Transit: 11-13 hours -- evening dispatch, morning delivery in Pune
Service: FTL intercity only -- no part load, parcel, or shared transport
Bangalore to Pune is 840 km via NH-48 -- a corridor that connects two of India's largest technology and manufacturing employment centres. Hinjewadi's IT park in Pune receives regular IT hardware and commercial equipment dispatches from Bangalore's Electronic City and Whitefield companies. Chakan's automotive belt receives auto components and engineering parts from Bangalore's Bommasandra and Peenya suppliers. These two freight flows drive a large share of Bangalore to Pune truck bookings on NH-48.
At 840 km, this works well as an overnight run. A truck loaded at Peenya or Electronic City at 6-7pm in Bangalore reaches Pune by 6-8am -- early enough for the receiving team to begin unloading before the working day starts. For businesses coordinating deliveries between Bangalore and Pune operations, the overnight Bangalore to Pune transit removes the need for an extra buffer day.
TruckGuru handles verified FTL Bangalore to Pune truck bookings at confirmed rates. The Bangalore to Pune transport charges shown before booking appear unchanged on your invoice. Check your route: freight calculator. Or call 72020 45678.

What Moves on the Bangalore to Pune Corridor
IT hardware is the most distinctive outbound category from Bangalore on this route. Companies in Electronic City, Whitefield, and Koramangala dispatch servers, networking equipment, UPS systems, and commercial IT hardware to offices and data centre operations in Pune's Hinjewadi and Kharadi tech parks. These consignments need enclosed body freight where weather protection matters -- the 14ft or 20ft closed container.
Auto components travel from Bangalore's Bommasandra and Peenya zones to Chakan's assembly plants -- the reverse of the dominant Pune-to-Bangalore auto flow. Bangalore's precision engineering cluster supplies specific sub-assemblies to Pune manufacturers that source from both cities. Pharmaceutical dispatches from Bangalore's pharma distributors to Pune's hospital networks run regularly, typically in Tata Ace or Bada Dost consignments.
Other regular Bangalore to Pune freight:
- FMCG and packaged goods from Bangalore distribution centres to Pune's retail and wholesale markets
- Garments and textiles from Bangalore's apparel cluster to Pune buyers and distributor networks
- Laboratory equipment and research instruments from Bangalore's biotech cluster to Pune's pharma R&D facilities in Hinjewadi
- Steel and construction materials from Bangalore's wholesale markets to Pune's construction sector
Commercial and industrial goods only. Household shifting, vehicle transport, and parcel services are not offered on this route.

Why Businesses Use TruckGuru for Bangalore to Pune
For IT companies in Electronic City dispatching hardware to Hinjewadi offices, documentation matters on a Bangalore to Pune truck booking. A consignment of servers or networking equipment needs a proper LR at dispatch -- if something is damaged at Pune delivery, the LR is the legal reference for what was loaded and who accepted it. TruckGuru generates the LR digitally at Bangalore dispatch. The GST invoice arrives after Pune delivery with the full tax breakup for input credit claims.
For auto component suppliers in Bommasandra dispatching to Chakan assembly plants, the overnight Bangalore to Pune run works only if the truck leaves on schedule. A confirmed TruckGuru booking means the truck is assigned before dispatch -- not sourced through a broker the evening of dispatch who may or may not find availability. The confirmed Bangalore to Pune transport rate does not change after the truck leaves, regardless of what happens to spot rates overnight.
GPS tracking runs live through the full NH-48 overnight route. Your Pune team can check the truck's position at 5am through the TruckGuru mobile app and prepare the receiving dock without calling the driver. For early morning deliveries to Chakan or Hinjewadi, that visibility makes the handover run on schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is TruckGuru?
TruckGuru LLP is a full truckload (FTL) intercity truck booking platform with offices in Vadodara and Bangalore, covering 110+ cities across India. We show you the freight cost before you book, match the right truck to your cargo, and handle the booking from pickup to delivery.
How do I book a truck?
Three ways: book online at truckguru.co.in, use the TruckGuru app, or call 72020 45678. Enter your pickup and drop city, select the truck type, and check the estimated fare. Once you confirm, pay the token amount and our team places the vehicle at your pickup location.
How can I check the freight cost for my route?
Use the freight calculator on our website -- enter the pickup city, drop city, and truck type. You will see an estimated fare instantly. No login needed, no obligation. The final rate is confirmed by our executive after verifying your exact locations, material weight, and goods type.
What truck types are available?
Tata Ace (1,250 kg), Bada Dost and Mahindra Pickup (up to 1.5 ton), Eicher 14ft (3.5 ton), 17ft (5 ton), 19ft (7 ton), 20ft Container (6.5 ton), and 32ft Container in SXL (7-8 ton), MXL (16 ton), and MXL (18 ton) variants. Not sure which fits your load? Call us and our team will recommend the right vehicle based on weight and volume.
What are the payment terms?
A token amount at booking confirmation, 90% of the fare at the time of loading, and the remaining balance at the destination before unloading. We accept NEFT, IMPS, UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), and all major debit and credit cards.
Is the online estimate the final fare?
No. The website shows an estimated cost based on standard distance. The final fare is confirmed by our executive after verifying your exact pickup and drop location, material weight, and goods type. On most routes the final rate stays close to the estimate, but it can vary for off-highway locations or routes requiring detours.
What are the waiting charges?
If the truck reaches your location and loading is delayed, waiting charges range from Rs.1,000 to Rs.5,000 per day depending on the vehicle type. If the vehicle is not loaded and returns empty, the customer must pay driver fuel charges plus the waiting charge.
What are the GST charges on freight?
GST on goods transport is payable under the Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) at 5%. The shipper is responsible for filing and paying the GST, not TruckGuru. Our invoices are GST-compliant and sent to your registered email after delivery.
Who generates the e-Way Bill?
The consignor or consignee must generate Part A and Part B of the e-Way Bill before the goods move. This is mandatory for consignments valued above Rs.50,000. TruckGuru does not generate the e-Way Bill on your behalf.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Call 72020 45678 to request cancellation. Once vehicle or driver details have been shared, the booking amount is non-refundable. If the truck has already been dispatched, no refund is issued and fuel charges apply. Approved cancellations are refunded (minus cancellation fee) within 7 working days.
Do you provide loading, unloading, or packing?
Our service covers transportation only. If you need labour for loading or unloading, we can help arrange it at extra cost, but we do not guarantee third-party labour services. The quoted freight rate does not include labour charges.
Do you handle parcels, courier, or car transport?
No. TruckGuru provides full truckload (FTL) intercity goods transport only. We do not handle parcels, courier, bike transport, car transport, household shifting, or within-city local deliveries.
Tips for Booking a Truck
Start with the weight and type of goods you need to move, not the truck size. A 2-ton consignment fits an Eicher 14FT (3.5T capacity), while anything above 7 tons usually needs a 32FT container. Picking the right vehicle upfront saves you from paying for space you do not use.
Always get a confirmed rate before the truck is dispatched. On TruckGuru, the price shown at booking is the price you pay. The payment split is 5% at booking, 90% at loading, and 5% before unloading. If any platform or broker tries to revise the rate at the loading dock, treat that as a red flag.
Check that the transporter provides live GPS tracking and digital documentation including LR, invoice, and POD. Calling the driver every few hours for location updates wastes time, especially on high-volume corridors where even a small delay can throw off your warehouse unloading schedule.
Book 2 to 3 days ahead when possible. Same-day availability is common on most routes, but during October to December peak season, trucks on busy corridors fill up fast. Advance booking also gives you better vehicle options for goods that need closed-body or containerised transport.
