From Noida, the market is mostly east

TruckGuru's tempo service in Noida books a Tata Ace or Dost (up to 1,100 kg) or a Bada Dost (up to 1.5 ton) with driver, for loads going over 100 km. Rates are not fixed: quoted per trip, toll included. Moradabad can be same day if loaded early; Dehradun and Kanpur take about 1 day.

Noida belongs to Uttar Pradesh, and most of its small loads stay in that state. Distributors in Lucknow, Kanpur, Bareilly and Moradabad buy from Noida's electronics, garment and packaging units, and the Yamuna and Agra-Lucknow expressways make those trips fast for a tempo. The other big pull is north, to Haridwar and Dehradun, where many plants order parts from Noida suppliers.

Plant security is strict in the SEZ and at larger units. Share the gate pass details, vehicle requirement and loading contact when you book, so the driver is not stopped at the barrier.

We do not take trips to Delhi, Ghaziabad, Gurugram or Faridabad. They are all under 100 km, and TruckGuru books intercity loads only. No deliveries inside Noida either.

Lanes and transit from Noida

For Lucknow and Kanpur the expressway is the obvious route. The catch is that the Yamuna Expressway sometimes has speed limits and diversions in winter fog, from late December to January. We would rather a tempo leave Noida in the afternoon and drive in daylight than start at midnight and sit out fog near Mathura.

The Haridwar lane is busy with parts going to the pharma and FMCG plants in SIDCUL. Receivers there usually unload only in day shift, so a late tempo waits outside the gate until morning.

What goes out in a tempo

Small Noida dispatches are often high-value and light: mobile accessories, LED drivers, cables, printed cartons, garment samples. A closed-body Ace is the better choice for these, and the e-way bill is almost always needed because the invoice value crosses Rs.50,000 quickly. Packaging units send corrugated boxes to FMCG plants, and those loads are bulky rather than heavy, so the Ace fills up by volume before weight.

If the load is over about 1.1 ton or does not fit the deck, book a 14FT Eicher (3.5 ton). A 19FT Eicher carries 7 ton and a 32FT container handles full plant loads. The truck type page shows open and closed options.

Tempo rates from Noida

Truck freight rates are not fixed. What a load costs depends on the route, vehicle type, load capacity needed, cargo, pickup date and how many trucks are running that lane that week. Tempos to Lucknow and Kanpur are easy to fill both ways; the Dehradun side sends fewer loads back, so availability there varies more.

Enter pickup, drop, weight and date on the website or the TruckGuru app. We call back within 30 minutes during working hours (Mon-Sat 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM, Sun 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM). You get a digital Lorry Receipt at loading, GPS tracking from dispatch to delivery, and the GST invoice after delivery. Loading and unloading labour and transit insurance are arranged by you. The consignor or consignee generates the e-way bill for goods above Rs.50,000.

Noida shippers usually ask

Can I get a tempo from Sector 63 to Lucknow by tomorrow?

Usually. Lucknow is about 510 km, so the trip takes 1 - 2 days. A tempo loading in the afternoon often reaches the next day, but plan for the second day if the receiver has a fixed slot.

Do you do local deliveries within Noida?

No. We book only intercity trips over 100 km. Noida to Delhi, Ghaziabad or Greater Noida is not covered.

How much load goes in one tempo?

A Tata Ace or Dost takes up to 1,100 kg. A Bada Dost class vehicle takes up to 1.5 ton.

Can I book a tempo to move my home things to another city?

Our trucks mostly carry business loads. For a one-off household move to another city, we can supply the truck and driver. Packing, loading and unloading are arranged by you.

Is the rate to Kanpur fixed?

No. Rates are not fixed. They change with date, vehicle type and demand, and the trip price with toll included is confirmed at booking.

Do I need an e-way bill if the goods stay in UP?

Yes, if the goods are worth over Rs.50,000. The consignor or consignee generates it, even for trips that stay inside Uttar Pradesh.

Can the tempo enter the Noida SEZ?

Yes, with the gate pass arranged by your team. Send us the pass details before pickup so we can brief the driver.

Will my cartons share space with another load?

No. One consignment per vehicle, delivered direct.

Who loads the tempo?

Your labour loads and unloads. The driver ties down the load and covers it.

What are the payment terms?

Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading once the truck reaches the pickup location, and the remaining Balance at delivery before unloading begins. Accepted: NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments accepted.
