Dehradun to Bangalore Truck Transport -- FTL Freight Rates and Booking
Dehradun to Bangalore is approximately 2,400 km -- one of the longer north-south corridors on the network, running from the Himalayan foothills to South India via NH 44 through Delhi-NCR, Agra, Nagpur, and Hyderabad. A loaded FTL truck takes 4 to 5 days on this route. This is a lower-frequency corridor than Dehradun's regional routes -- book at least 5 to 6 days ahead rather than the standard 48-72 hour window.
Use the freight calculator to check current rates before calling.
Bangalore is one of India's largest manufacturing and IT hubs, with auto components, electronics, and pharmaceutical goods generating steady freight demand. Dehradun's economy leans toward pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and light engineering, with Selaqui and Sahaspur industrial areas as the main freight-generating zones. Both ends have genuine industrial activity, which keeps this corridor moving despite the distance.

FTL Freight Rates from Dehradun to Bangalore (2,400 km)
At this distance, a 32ft container typically gives the best per-tonne economics for bulk industrial or FMCG loads. A 14ft Eicher still makes sense for pharmaceutical goods or lower-volume shipments. Check the truck size guide before booking.

What Moves Between Dehradun and Bangalore
Dehradun sends pharmaceutical goods from its Selaqui and Sahaspur industrial units, FMCG products, and light engineering goods south to Bangalore's distribution and manufacturing network. Bangalore sends electronics, IT hardware, auto components, and pharmaceutical goods back to Dehradun and the wider Uttarakhand market.
This corridor sees less daily truck traffic than shorter regional routes out of Dehradun. Planning your dispatch date a few days ahead of when the truck actually needs to leave gives TruckGuru more room to confirm the right vehicle at a competitive rate.
TruckGuru carries FTL intercity goods transport only. No part loads, household goods, live animals, fresh produce, or fertilizers on this route.

Why Businesses Book This Route With TruckGuru
A corridor spanning nearly the full length of India crosses multiple state borders, and each one needs to be covered in the e-way bill before the truck leaves Dehradun. We confirm document coverage at booking, not after the truck is already deep into Madhya Pradesh or Telangana.
TruckGuru is FTL-only on this corridor as on every other. Your cargo doesn't share a truck with another shipper's goods, and there are no unplanned stops between Dehradun and Bangalore. On a 2,400 km run, that matters more than it would on a short corridor -- there's simply more distance and more time for something to go wrong on a shared arrangement.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is TruckGuru?
TruckGuru LLP is a full truckload (FTL) intercity truck booking platform with offices in Vadodara and Bangalore, covering 110+ cities across India. We show you the freight cost before you book, match the right truck to your cargo, and handle the booking from pickup to delivery.
How do I book a truck?
Three ways: book online at truckguru.co.in, use the TruckGuru app, or call 72020 45678. Enter your pickup and drop city, select the truck type, and check the estimated fare. Once you confirm, pay the token amount and our team places the vehicle at your pickup location.
How can I check the freight cost for my route?
Use the freight calculator on our website -- enter the pickup city, drop city, and truck type. You will see an estimated fare instantly. No login needed, no obligation. The final rate is confirmed by our executive after verifying your exact locations, material weight, and goods type.
What truck types are available?
Tata Ace (1,250 kg), Bada Dost and Mahindra Pickup (up to 1.5 ton), Eicher 14ft (3.5 ton), 17ft (5 ton), 19ft (7 ton), 20ft Container (6.5 ton), and 32ft Container in SXL (7-8 ton), MXL (16 ton), and MXL (18 ton) variants. Not sure which fits your load? Call us and our team will recommend the right vehicle based on weight and volume.
What are the payment terms?
A token amount at booking confirmation, 90% of the fare at the time of loading, and the remaining balance at the destination before unloading. We accept NEFT, IMPS, UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), and all major debit and credit cards.
Is the online estimate the final fare?
No. The website shows an estimated cost based on standard distance. The final fare is confirmed by our executive after verifying your exact pickup and drop location, material weight, and goods type. On most routes the final rate stays close to the estimate, but it can vary for off-highway locations or routes requiring detours.
What are the waiting charges?
If the truck reaches your location and loading is delayed, waiting charges range from Rs.1,000 to Rs.5,000 per day depending on the vehicle type. If the vehicle is not loaded and returns empty, the customer must pay driver fuel charges plus the waiting charge.
What are the GST charges on freight?
GST on goods transport is payable under the Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) at 5%. The shipper is responsible for filing and paying the GST, not TruckGuru. Our invoices are GST-compliant and sent to your registered email after delivery.
Who generates the e-Way Bill?
The consignor or consignee must generate Part A and Part B of the e-Way Bill before the goods move. This is mandatory for consignments valued above Rs.50,000. TruckGuru does not generate the e-Way Bill on your behalf.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Call 72020 45678 to request cancellation. Once vehicle or driver details have been shared, the booking amount is non-refundable. If the truck has already been dispatched, no refund is issued and fuel charges apply. Approved cancellations are refunded (minus cancellation fee) within 7 working days.
Do you provide loading, unloading, or packing?
Our service covers transportation only. If you need labour for loading or unloading, we can help arrange it at extra cost, but we do not guarantee third-party labour services. The quoted freight rate does not include labour charges.
Do you handle parcels, courier, or car transport?
No. TruckGuru provides full truckload (FTL) intercity goods transport only. We do not handle parcels, courier, bike transport, car transport, household shifting, or within-city local deliveries.
Tips for Booking a Truck
Start with the weight and type of goods you need to move, not the truck size. A 2-ton consignment fits an Eicher 14FT (3.5T capacity), while anything above 7 tons usually needs a 32FT container. Picking the right vehicle upfront saves you from paying for space you do not use.
Always get a confirmed rate before the truck is dispatched. On TruckGuru, the price shown at booking is the price you pay. The payment split is 5% at booking, 90% at loading, and 5% before unloading. If any platform or broker tries to revise the rate at the loading dock, treat that as a red flag.
Check that the transporter provides live GPS tracking and digital documentation including LR, invoice, and POD. Calling the driver every few hours for location updates wastes time, especially on high-volume corridors where even a small delay can throw off your warehouse unloading schedule.
Book 2 to 3 days ahead when possible. Same-day availability is common on most routes, but during October to December peak season, trucks on busy corridors fill up fast. Advance booking also gives you better vehicle options for goods that need closed-body or containerised transport.
