Book Tata AceWinter changes the rules for small vehicles in Delhi
Every year from about October to January, Delhi's air quality plan, GRAP, tightens in stages. At the higher stages, older diesel goods vehicles face restrictions on Delhi roads, and a Bawana unit that booked any tempo that happened to be free can find the vehicle cannot run on the day. It is the single most common reason a small Delhi dispatch slips in winter. When you book from Bawana in those months, mention the date clearly; on the callback we check that the vehicle lined up for you can run under the stage in force that week.
The rest of the year, TruckGuru's tempo service in Bawana is simpler. We book a Tata Ace or Bada Dost class vehicle with driver for trips over 100 km out of the DSIIDC industrial area and the Bawana-Narela belt, one consignment per vehicle, straight to the receiver. Drops inside Delhi NCR are not something we take.
Almost every lane crosses a state line
Bawana sits right against the Haryana border, so nearly every trip we book from here is inter-state within the first half hour. That makes the e-way bill routine rather than occasional. For goods worth more than 50,000 rupees, the consignor or consignee generates it before dispatch using the vehicle number we share. The lanes we see most:
- Karnal, about 110 km up NH-44: electrical goods and plastic parts for dealers
- Ambala, about 180 km: hardware, wires and switchgear
- Chandigarh, about 230 km, usually 1 day: FMCG and packaging for distributors in the tricity
- Dehradun, about 250 km: consumer goods and building fittings
- Jaipur, about 290 km via the KMP and NH-48, usually 1 day: footwear components and moulded parts
- Agra, about 250 km, usually 1 day: footwear material both ways
Sonipat, Panipat and Meerut are closer than 100 km from Bawana, so we do not book those.
What Bawana puts in a tempo
Printed cartons and packaging, PVC compound, cables and wires, footwear soles and uppers, small machinery parts, and moulded plastic homeware. These are light-to-medium loads, and an open Ace / Dost / Pickup at up to 1,100 kg often fits them better than a truck. Ask for the closed body, up to 1.5 ton, for printed cartons and anything that marks in the rain; July and August on the Chandigarh road are wet.

Tempo rates from Bawana
Truck freight rates are not fixed. What a load costs depends on the route, vehicle type, load capacity needed, cargo, pickup date and how many trucks are running that lane that week. In winter the GRAP stage itself narrows which vehicles can take a Delhi pickup, which shows up in availability. Fares below include toll.

How the booking goes
Enter pickup, drop, weight and date on the website or the TruckGuru app. We call back within 30 minutes during working hours (Mon-Sat 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM, Sun 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM). A digital Lorry Receipt is issued at loading, the tempo is GPS tracked from dispatch to delivery, and the GST invoice follows after delivery. Loading and unloading labour and transit insurance are arranged by you.

On the callback we check that the vehicle lined up for you can run under the current stage. If a stage change later affects the slot, we tell you as soon as we know.
900 kg of cartons to Chandigarh, open or closed?
Closed. It keeps printed cartons clean and dry, and a closed-body Bada Dost takes up to 1.5 ton.
Can you do Bawana to Sonipat?
No. That is under 100 km. We only book intercity trips over 100 km.
Do I need an e-way bill for Karnal?
It is an inter-state trip, so yes if the goods are worth more than 50,000 rupees. The consignor or consignee generates it.
How much does an Ace carry?
Up to 1,100 kg for an open Ace / Dost / Pickup, up to 1.5 ton on a closed body.
Will there be another company's goods in the tempo?
No. One vehicle per consignment, direct from your gate to your receiver.
Who loads at our unit in Sector 3?
You arrange loading and unloading labour. The driver ties and covers the load but does not lift cartons.
How long to Jaipur?
About 290 km via the KMP and NH-48, usually delivered within 1 day.
Can I send personal things to Dehradun?
Our trucks mostly carry business loads. For a one-off household move to another city, we can supply the truck and driver. Packing, loading and unloading are arranged by you.
What are the payment terms?
Payment is split into three parts: Booking Amount at booking confirmation, 90% at loading once the truck reaches the pickup location, and the remaining Balance at delivery before unloading begins. Accepted: NEFT, IMPS, UPI (PhonePe, GPay), and major debit and credit cards. No cash payments accepted.
